Generally I don’t like lens flare. But there are certain images where it adds to the image. With wide angle lenses, the angle of view sometimes makes it impossible to avoid flare even with a lens hood. Occasionally it can’t be helped. But sometimes, like our old friend Bob Ross used to say, it can be a happy accident.
