I had a conversation with this orange cat outside a famous Shiva temple in south India. We talked for a while, and the entire time, I thought he was squinting because of the strong sunlight, which was indeed overwhelming. Then, as I was about to leave and pass by, he opened his eyes, and I saw he was completely blind. He was beautiful. I hope you can see some of his dignity in this photograph.
